The Licensing Unit within Sweeney McGann provides advice on all Licensing issues including all necessary Court applications for individuals and businesses including Public Houses, Hotels, Clubs, Off-Licenses, Nightclubs, Auctioneers, Bookmakers and Restaurants. The Department is naturally complemented by our Employment, Sports and Commercial Departments.
We offer a commitment to our clients to keep current with the latest developments in the area and to provide an accessible and expert service. Our licensing department is long established having acted for the Limerick Vintners Association for over 25 years. Our commitment is extended to the smallest public house to the most complex litigation.
Our Licensing Department was the winner of the Corporate Intl Global Award for "Licensing Law Firm of the Year in Ireland". This award was in recognition of the expertise which the firm has in the area. Sweeney McGann have achieved many notable results on behalf of our clients in complex areas of Licensing. These include acting for the Vintners association in their battle to open Licensed Premises on Good Friday. |
