About
We provide personal advice in the areas of wills, estates and probate. Our solicitors emphasise confidentiality and sensitivity when working with clients. We recognise that planning for the distribution of property and other assets after death involves some of the most important decisions that our clients will make.
Why Should I Make A Will?
Making a will gives legal standing to what you intend to do with your assets or possessions after death. While some wills can be very simple and straight forward, others can be very complicated with many considerations to take into account particularly were there are substantial assets. Issues may include tax considerations, legal right shares of spouses, prior gifts and advancement, previous marriages, the rights of adoptive or stepchildren. We advise on the many aspects of estate planning including the setting up of will trusts.
Our Probate Department aims to ensure that our clients’ affairs are in order at all times. We also provide a comprehensive service in the administration of estates post death. The tax liabilities incurred on inheritance are a complex area of the law.
We have developed a strong reputation of expertise in the area. We also have extensive experience in the area of drafting an Enduring Power of Attorney. |
